These windmills, part of a collection of 18 antique windmills donated by local farmers in order to preserve the memory of their past usefulness, are located near the Nathaniel Hamlin Museum. |
This is an historic farm with 18 farm windmills, native woodland with wild flowers, wild animals, a haven for all kinds of wild birds and the newest attraction...a pair of Rocky Mountain elk, who became parents of a new baby elk the day before Father's Day. A viewing stand is being built to accommodate a closer look at the family.
The museum is open Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., June through September or by appointment.
